Ok I just reblogged that badass women post and I like it but it always annoys me because that stupid fucking girl on her skateboard is always reblogged
Kinda dumb to reblog some white girl nobody has ever heard of doing a single trick that is OKish when there is…
PEGGY OKI ok
This fucking badass, one of the first notable female skateboarders, Asian American, and a member of the legendary Z-Boys (who basically brought about skateboarding as we know it because they were surfers who basically hijaked the sport, which otherwise was a bunch of white preppy kids doing tricks like the girl in that post)
Anyway Peggi Oki is really rad, read more about her yes ok
Badass women from history
- Leather clad English rocker girl
- Women boxing on a roof in LA (1933)
- Ellen O’Neal, the greatest woman freestyle skateboarder in the 1970s
- Elspeth Beard, first Englishwoman to circumnavigate the world by motorcycle
Started meditating and kept coming across wells while in a kind of dream state (was intentionally led to a well in the woods) without realizing the significance of wells? Should I think more of this as Mirmirs’ well, should I sacrifice or pay respect? I feel as though I have been misinterpreting everything.
On another note, thunder shook my house this morning, but it is a clear day. Thunder is a rarity in California. Omens?
What you see here are the first 5 copies of ”SOME WEAR LEATHER, SOME WEAR LACE”, with a 22cm/22cm size and a thickness of about 2,5cm. The cover is a paperback and inside there are thick ‘drawing’ type of pages with a lot of photos of 1980s goths/postpunks/wavers. The main text tells us about the story of ‘goth’ from the beginning till its ‘death’ in the late 1980s. Including interviews, thoughts and memories of original goths and bands such as Clan of Xymox (NL), Kirlian Camera (IT), Opéra de Nuit (FR), F.O System (HU), Pin Ups (FIN) & Alien Sex Fiend (UK)
